For piano tutors who work with the middle C method, you surely noticed that most piano books for children (beginners) available in the market make an excessive use of fingering. We know how bad it can become when pupils associate a number - instead of the name of the note - to a place on the stave. That was one of the reasons that drove me to write my own beginner's book. Enjoy the video!
In picture books for little ones, illustration and text must have balance and inter-related meaning. And so should be on any children's book, be it literacy, educational, musical, and so on. Especially on educational books, too much visual elements create distractions and annoyance. At the end, it should be a children's book and not a visual war zone!
Too much fingering. Visual pollution. Missing rests or even worse: no rests! Distorted musical concepts. Too many theoretical information scattered around the tunes...
Lets clean all this mess up and bring balance, organisation and practicality to our piano lessons? Pianoville is the answer!
